On January 8, over 100 students from seven schools gathered for the District 15 Elementary School Debate Tournament. Hosted in partnership with the New York City Urban Debate League, the tournament showcased the incredible research, critical thinking, and public speaking skills students had developed in preparation for this event. Coaches and students worked tirelessly to craft compelling resolutions and refine their arguments. The competition was fierce, but collaboration and learning were the real highlights of the day. Medals were awarded to the top 20 scoring students, celebrating their hard work and dedication. Congratulations to the debate teams from PS 15, PS 24, PS 32, PS 118, PS 124, PS 154, and PS 321 for making this tournament such a great success!
